Kira Wattenburg King dedicates her legal practice to Estate Planning, particularly in the areas of Revocable and Irrevocable Trust formation and administration. Her advanced Estate Planning skills include probate avoidance, tax and business planning in close coordination with her client’s financial advisors. Kira also offers Probate Administration, Special Needs planning and Conservatorships among all other general Estate Planning legal services.

Kira earned her law degree at UC Davis School of Law and was a prosecutor for the Sacramento District Attorney’s Office. After leaving the prosecutor’s office, Kira opened her own firm specializing in civil litigation and now proudly dedicates her practice solely to Estate Planning. Prior to becoming an attorney, Kira was the Chief Operations Officer for a financial corporation and worked with Deloitte Consulting. She offers a unique and seasoned skill-set to Estate Planning for often intricate and difficult family and financial scenarios. 

Kira has served on multiple non-profit boards, including the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Center of Yolo County (Empower Yolo) and the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce. She presents regularly at financial seminars, and has been chosen by the California District Attorney’s Association to speak annually  at their National Symposium on Elder Abuse.  She has worked with the UC Davis Extension, Center for Human Services to educate Health and Human Services and Adult Protective Services professionals on the prevention of elder abuse and has developed curriculum for these trainings in conjunction with the Academy for Professional Excellence.
